One of the nation’s leading food distributor and supplier, M.Lhuillier Wine & Food, has started its roots with a simple logo, honed by Mark. Today it has grown to be a brand known to import European goods and condiments. The business’ visual identity is created by Mark since its birth.
Branding and Advertising
2012 probably marked the boom of the iPad in a time- line perspective. The client wanted a company logo that brings the spirit of the accesibility and “app-ness” in mind. Mark whipped up a design direction with an app icon as a basis. The client loved it and Mark earned from the identity job as well as a client. Skeumorphism was on the rise during these times yet a consideration of a simple, one colour design (devoid of any instance of shadows and reflections) was created. The identity work is up until now being used by the company.

During 2013, ML Wine & Food acquired some distribution rights to a Danish commercial beer company in the Philippines. Distributing to different establishments in Manila and Cebu, A focus on the brand of beer was initiated. Tarps, beer coasters, POP’s, and many other collaterals are deployed - even a bear costume was made. Mark churning out different ad studies and such collaterals helped keep the reach in place..
Being the exclusive distributor of Denmark’s “BEAR BEER”, the company decided that they should create a TVC Ad which will promote the said beer brand. Mark was tasked to take the lead on this by directing and producing the tvc. They made this ad into a reality.
